The Life of Our Management Trainees

Step One Apply for program The Management Training Program is designed to prepare qualified college graduates to fill positions within Stock Yards Bank & Trust where they can provide a meaningful impact on future business. Work as a teller before you graduate to be ready for the program when applications are taken in the first quarter of each year.
Step Two Rotation of Lines of Buisnesses
All candidates will receive training in various facets of the Bank to gain an understanding of how a bank works and how each department interacts with each other. Some departments include: Retail, Mortgage, Private Banking, Audit, and Loan Ops.
Step Three Graduation
After completing the 20-24 month long training phase, including both intensive classroom and practical experience in many areas of banking, individuals graduate the program and move forward to start a career with Stock Yards Bank.
Step Four Career at Stock Yards Bank
After successful completion of the program the candidate will be placed in a rewarding management role (or role with a direct path to management) within the bank. 
I was looking for a bank that supports career growth and career leadership. When I was informed, right after being hired, that there was a program like that here at the bank, it made me plan to be here longer and go through this program.

The Management Training Program has helped me become a better well rounded individual by allowing me to spend time with many departments within the bank. The program has given me the opportunity to visualize what a successful banking career would look like for me. Upon graduation of the program I will have the opportunity to take the next step forward in my career with a better understanding of how I can make a meaningful impact for our community as well as the bank.
