The Life of Our Management Trainees
All candidates will receive training in various facets of the Bank to gain an understanding of how a bank works and how each department interacts with each other. Some departments include: Retail, Mortgage, Private Banking, Audit, and Loan Ops.
After completing the 20-24 month long training phase, including both intensive classroom and practical experience in many areas of banking, individuals graduate the program and move forward to start a career with Stock Yards Bank.
After successful completion of the program the candidate will be placed in a rewarding management role (or role with a direct path to management) within the bank.
I was looking for a bank that supports career growth and career leadership. When I was informed, right after being hired, that there was a program like that here at the bank, it made me plan to be here longer and go through this program.
The Management Training Program has helped me become a better well rounded individual by allowing me to spend time with many departments within the bank. The program has given me the opportunity to visualize what a successful banking career would look like for me. Upon graduation of the program I will have the opportunity to take the next step forward in my career with a better understanding of how I can make a meaningful impact for our community as well as the bank.
